and green, and cream and grey too. These beautiful sisters were a dream to photograph. I seriously could have photographed them all night but when it got dark we had to wrap it up. It was awesome working with such beautiful ladies -hope you enjoy a LONG preview from our session -I just could not cut it down!

Had me a blast.

Anyone with kids knows how (frustrating! aggravating! soul-crushing!) hard it is to get a picture of them in the same frame. And even better -smiling. And even, EVEN better -smiling and looking at the camera or looking like they are fond of one another in any way. It's really the perfect storm of photography.

They do love each other, it's so lovely when they show it.

After this they went inside and fought over who gets the orange Popsicle, Emme hit Noah over the head with her stuffed cow and everyone went to bed early.

And adored. And cherished. This precious little girl is the light of her parents' world. She's got her mommy and daddy wrapped around her tiny pinkie finger at only 11days old-it is so sweet how they dote on her. Every child should be this loved.

Warning -Bragging Mom Post Ahead!

Anyone who knows me know how much I LOVE Etsy. You can find just about anything there and it is mostly all handmade by very small businesses. It's where I get all of my photo props from various sellers and A LOT (too much!) of my daughter's clothing as well. A Day at The Farm

I always love trying out new locations for a session, so when the Mom of this gorgeous family mentioned that her family has a horse farm we could use, of course that's what we did! This family lives in the same neighborhood as several other families I've photographed, and I'm beginning to think that the neighborhood association over there has a "beautiful family" requirement. Seriously, EVERYONE I've met from there looks like they fell out of a magazine. Someone needs to look into this phenomenon immediately! Anyway, that was just a PSA for you all.

So beautiful! This gorgeous young woman is about to start her senior year of high school and she was so much fun to photograph! It seemed strange for me at first to photograph someone who was not running away or spontaneously bursting into tears (like my usual subjects) and we got to try some really fun new poses and locations. Ciao! What a beautiful, just 4 day-old baby I photographed today! Her parents are from Italy and wanted some special images of their brand new daughter so I was happy to oblige. Mom wanted some pretty, feminine pictures and was excited about trying out my new props with her little dolce cuore (was that right? I googled it. Look at me trying to speak Italian.) Her gorgeous big brother even posed a bit for me too.

Seriously, I'm SWOONING over these HUGE blue eyes! Could he even be any more adorable?

I was so happy to photograph this little boy and his parents today. He was one of the very first newborns I photographed and he was such a teeny, tiny little nugget. Now he is a big happy, healthy unbelievably scrumptious 6 month-old. I even got to cuddle him a bit at the end of the session. I may even have nuzzled him a little. Okay, I may even have smelled him a little. Is that so wrong? I did give him back to his Mommy even though I wanted to keep him. She was watching me too closely for a clean getaway, anyway. Maybe next time. :)

What a fun family/maternity session I had tonight! This super gorgeous family is waiting on their 5th member due in July so we took a trip out to my favorite old farm to capture some images of this special time in their lives. A few more from my Philadelphia session with a beautiful family. The older boy is the same age as my Noah and such a sweet, gentle soul. His baby brother is a delicious morsel of scrumptiousness. His cheeks are seriously like little dumplings that need to be nibbled on. I'm sure his Mom and Dad care taking care of that but, if they need a break, I'm always here to help. I have over 5 years of extensive experience in cheek nibbling. I'm just saying. I'm very qualified for the job. Oh, the big chocolate brown eyes on both of them. . . sigh. . . well, you'll just have to see for yourself . . .

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little girl today. She was is a whole two weeks old (actually closer to three) and wanted nothing to do with me and my camera! Those old, old babies -they always put up a fight! :) But her beautiful Mom, Dad and I convinced her to pose for a few pictures, and we're all so glad she did! But unfortunately, my legs and feet would closely resemble Fred Flintstone's starting around 7 months, but not hers. She is just two weeks away from meeting their first daughter following four (FOUR!)gorgeous sons. What a lucky baby girl. What a beautiful mommy. What a gorgeous family!

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

Actually it was a pouring-down rainy kind of day - not the best conditions for natural light photography. Fortunately, I had a sweet little newborn to photograph and there was just enough light to make some pictures.

Mom and Dad were very kind to let me try out some new poses on their precious first-born . . .

Today I got to photograph another sweet newborn and his family-how lucky am I?

Actually he is six weeks old already but you never would have known by the way he slept so nicely during our session and let his Mom and me twist him into all sorts of cute positions. He also has two gorgeous older sisters who were balls of energy and fun. Thanks for spending time with me today and hope you enjoy a few preview photos!

The lesson to be learned here? Always watch where you're sitting! :)

Introducing the most scrumptious 12 day old boy. He was the perfect model and I fear I am now spoiled for future newborn sessions. He was so sweet and calm. He even opened his eyes for a few photos. His mom, dad and beautiful big sister are smitten. I wanted to take him home but I think mom and dad were on to me . . .oh well, maybe I'll get my camera on him and his family again in a few months. Farm Photo Session

I stumbled across this farm less than a mile from our house. It has a beautiful weathered barn covered in fall foliage. I grabbed my (victims) models and (bribed) asked them nicely to pose for some pictures.This is one of the few shots where they both looked at me at the same time.

Here is Noah contemplating the meaning of life. Or how long until I'm done. One of those.

So handsome if I do say so :) I did NOTHING to enhance his eyes here -the light caught them just so . . .
